Aminexil Side Effects

Aminexil Side Effects

Aminexil is a product made by Loreal that claims to minimize hair loss due to a buildup of collagen at the base of hair follicles. Although it’s not my understanding that a buildup of collagen is in any way the cause of hair loss, I have still had a number of people ask me about Aminexil side effects so I’m happy to address the issue.

After doing quite a bit of research, I have found out a couple of things. One thing is that Loreal only lists one potential side effect of using their product, and that is itching or redness. The other thing I found out is that it’s nearly impossible to get a hold of any Aminexil here in the U.S. It’s apparently confiscated in customs quite often on account of Aminexil not being FDA approved or even registered with the FDA here in the U.S.

Although FDA approval is by no means the only way to know if a product works, it is a very GOOD way to know if it works and what the potential risks are of using the product. I asked around to our blog readers to see if I could get any kind of information on whether or not any of our blog readers have had negative side effects while using Aminexil, and I came up empty. That doesn’t mean nobody has negative side effects; it could just mean that most of my blog readers now use HairIntegro since I usually suggest it to anyone who asks me about it.

Because I live in the United States and would have a hard time getting Aminexil if I wanted to use it, I’m going to stick to just using HairIntegro and Nisim shampoo. I’ve been using both for about 18 months now, and I’ve pretty much regrown all the hair I lost over the previous several years. You can see my personal  before / after pictures here and judge for yourself to see if you think that’s what works.

Viviscal Results

Viviscal Results

Once again, one of our blog readers came through for us with a personal review of viviscal. Many of our blog readers are really what help us offer information that truly helps tons of people, so thank you for helping us out!

Anyway, here are the viviscal results / viviscal review one of our blog readers sent in to us for us to share with our readers and our viewers. Her name is Vivian:  “I noticed my hair was looking a lot thinner after I was in my mid forties, and I desperately wanted to reverse my hair loss. I started using Viviscal and noticed that it made my stomache hurt for the first few days, and then I decided to take it with more food and that helped.”

After about 5 months, I did see some improvement in my hair thickness, but I was still losing hair significantly faster than when I was younger. I don’t know what the exact reason for my hair loss was, but I decided that Viviscal was not working for me like I had hoped and switched to another minoxidil based treatment that Tanner recommended to me. So far I’m liking it a lot better!”

So there you have it. This is pretty much what I suspected I would hear from a viviscal customer. I looked through their product information on their site and was never really impressed with their ingredients list. I’m always happy to see an all-natural product that works somewhat, because I think there’s a lot to be said about all-natural ingredients that really can do a lot to help hair loss.

Anyway, just like Vivian said in her testimonial, she emailed me and asked what I recommended for her, and I recommended HairIntegro. It’s got SOME similar ingredients in their oral supplement, but the best part is it includes a minoxidil treatment as well that’s one of the most effective hair loss treatments ever discovered, and it is also FDA approved, so you know it works for almost everyone who tries it.

Revivogen Review

Revivogen Review

Having a hair loss blog really helps us out sometimes when we’re looking for more information about the effectiveness of a particular product. We wanted to be able to offer something for our visitors and we started to ask around for someone to offer a review for Revivogen. After a little while, we were able to find someone who had used it and could give us a review of the product.

The Revivogen review comes from James in California. He said that following “After using Revivogen for about 4 months, I started to notice a small improvement in my hair thickness. I noticed some extra hair shedding for the first month or so which is apparently normal, and then after that it slowed down but didn’t stop completely.”

“At around the 7 month mark, I was starting to be a little worried because I didn’t know what kind of results I should be seeing, and I really didn’t see the results I was hoping for. I looked around and found other reviews and discovered other people were having the same problem. I eventually decided the results were not good enough to require paying $120 every 3 months.”

Now, based on our own experience with products similar to Revivogen and other Revivogen reviews we’ve found, I have to admit these are sometimes the results people see with a product that includes only all-natural ingredients. Although natural ingredients are good for people wanting to avoid the potential rare side effects of minoxidil, I still don’t think most people are likely to see the results they are looking for.

I have used Procerin, a product very similar to Revivogen with respect to ingredients. I saw about 30% of the results I was hoping to see with it, and I eventually switched to HairIntegro because it’s got FDA approved minoxidil PLUS all-natural ingredients just like Revivogen.

I can’t speak for everyone when I say that a minoxidil product is probably lots better than a product that only uses natural ingredients, but as for me and my personal treatment, I’m sticking to HairIntegro.

Nioxin Reviews

Nioxin Reviews

When I first started looking for hair loss products back a couple years ago, I was a little bit intrigued by the nioxin system. I did a whole lot of research to try and find out what it could actually do for me and how much success I could expect to see with it.

The main thing I found out about Nioxin is that it is meant to increase how thick your hair LOOKS, but not to actually regrow hair or even stop hair loss. I know that lots of people may think that they claim to regrow hair, but they don’t say that anywhere on their website. For many people who have stabilized their hair loss and are looking for a product that will help increase how thick their hair looks, this may be something for them.

I asked around for Nioxin reviews I could use and I was able to get a Nioxin review from a friend of mine and here’s what he said: “I used nioxin for about 3 months and I think it was working pretty well for me as far as making my hair look thicker, but the problem was that I was still losing my hair and could tell that I’d need something else ultimately to stop hair loss and even to regrow hair. In that sense, it’s not a product you can rely on by itself for hair loss, but maybe it’s good to use in addition to other products that DO regrow hair.”

So there you have it. Nioxin works like it should, but that’s not quite enough for people wanting to reverse their hair loss. They’ll continue to lose their hair if they are going through genetic hair loss. For me personally when it comes to scalp cleansers, I choose to use Nisim Newhair Biofactors shampoo because it helps stop hair loss and not just make your hair LOOK thicker. For me, I feel it’s a little more effective, plus it’s a little cheaper.

In my opinion, anyone who really wants to attack their hair loss problem as quickly as possible should be using a minoxidil product AND either an oral DHT blocking supplement or Propecia. This is because both minoxidil and supplements or Propecia attack hair loss at the source and work to reverse it, meaning you’ll also have thicker looking hair because you’ll have plenty more hair on your head.

Because I know people are going to ask me in the comments section, I’ll just tell you right now that I use HairIntegro because I feel that it works quickly and effectively and includes a topical minoxidil treatment that ALSO has an oral supplement that reduced DHT in the bloodstream to stop hair loss permanently.

Rogaine for Women Side Effects

Rogaine for Women Side Effects

Rogaine for women is essentially 2% minoxidil.  Minoxidil is a vasodilator that helps more blood get to hair follicles and therefore allows hair follicles that have stopped producing hair to become healthy again and begin growing new hair.

Rogaine  / Minoxidil is a pretty good drug considering it’s pretty effective. It can be made more effective with the use of certain oral supplements to go along with it. But, I’ll get to that in a minute. Right now I just want to talk about potential side effects of Rogaine.

It’s important to note that Rogaine for Women is appoved in the 2% minoxidil formula, but not higher formulations. Based on my research, I’ve foundt his is because 2% minoxidil has a lower chance of any side effects at all for women. So, be sure to stick to women’s minoxidil when making a purchase.

Anyway, the potential side effects for women’s Rogaine are as follows:

Red, itchy, flaky scalp

Sudden unexplained weight gain

Faintness or dizziness

Unwanted facial hair growth

Chest pain or chest tightness

Out of those potential side effects, by FAR the most common side effect is red, itchy skin. This is often actually due to solvents in the minoxidil. In Rogaine and some “higher quality” formulations of minoxidil, you are far less likely to have a problem with this.

I personally recommend HairIntegro for both men and women because it’s a high quality minoxidil formulation and it’s also got an oral supplement that also improves hair loss. One more thing is they have a good return policy if it doesn’t work, and Rogaine does not. I’d say it’s not a bad choice, but as I always say, it’s still your choice so just do what you think is best.

Hairmax Lasercomb Review

Hairmax Lasercomb Review

I get asked quite often about the effectiveness of lasers in stimulating hair growth and so I’ve taken quite a bit of time to research before putting this review together. There are lots of different hair loss lasers out there, but I think the most common one advertised is the HairMax Lasercomb.

The first thing I have to say about it is that they may use somewhat deceptive advertising about their product. They like to tell people that it’s “FDA Cleared” to treat hair loss… but that does NOT mean it’s FDA approved to treat hair loss. Minoxidil if FDA approved because it’s been tested and found effective on 85% of people who use it. Saying something is FDA Cleared just means that it’s not dangerous to be used on your head and it not likely to cause medical problems.

The difference between FDA approval and FDA clearance it pretty big, and I think it’s something a lot of people don’t quite understand. The FDA stamp tends to carry a lot of weight, and people who use it to advertise their products are quite often trying to inspire confidence in their product, as if the FDA says it’s an effective product.

I have not personally used the Hairmax Lasercomb, but that’s simply because I’ve checked with multiple sources to see if it’s worthwhile. I sometimes like to go to BaldingBlog.com and see what Dr. Rassman has to say about things. He analyzed the product and gave it a thumbs down. He is one of the world’s foremost experts in hair loss and hair regrowth, and if he doesn’t like it, I would say to stay away from it and spend your money on something that actually works.

I know if you’ve seen any of my other videos you’re likely to already know that I personally use HairIntegro because it’s an FDA approved minoxidil treatment along with an oral supplement that includes TONS of DHT blocking elements.

Provillus Ingredients

Provillus Ingredients

Provillus has some of the more effective ingredients for treating hair loss that I’ve discovered through my extensive research of hair loss products. I would say there are still pros and cons to using Provillus though.

Provillus has a topical solution that includes a 2% minoxidil solution for women and a 5% solution for men. Minoxidil is the only FDA approved topical solution for hair regrowth, and luckily it does work on both men and women.

The oral supplement for Provillus is a little more complicated, yet still effective. It includes several natural DHT blockers and supplements that improve hair growth. These ingredients include saw palmetto, uva-arsi extract, pumpkin seed extract, and vitamins B6 and zinc. All of these ingredients together are quite effective at blocking DHT in the scalp and promoting healthy hair growth.

Even though I have to say I endorse Provillus as a product, I still would rather recommend HairIntegro to anyone who asks me what I recommend. The reasons are that HairIntegro is what I use. It has all of the ingredients in the oral supplement I already mentioned. Also, it comes with a 120% money-back guarantee that they are happy to honor if you have any reason to return it. Provillus is not quite as good at dealing with returns. Their return period is only 90 days, they don’t make it very easy for you at all, and you only get 100% of your money back in SOME situation. HairIntegro is 120 days, 120% of your money back in ALL situations.

I hope this information helps you and I hope you are able to make a more educated decision after reading this.

Procerin Side Effects

Procerin Side Effects

Because I’ve used Procerin, I have to say that I’ve been able to give a decent rundown of how well it works and potential side effects. For any of my blog readers your video channel viewers, I’m happy to offer this information to help you out.

When it comes down to it, Procerin is basically an all-natural treatment. So, what that means is 2 things in my opinion. 1 is that it’s got an extremely low level of side effects. 2 is that it’s not quite as effective as treatments that include both natural ingredients AND a minoxidil topical solution.

The side effects of Procerin are actually just about the same side effects that are seen with taking multivitamins. People who take Procerin oral supplements may experience nausea or vomiting within the first few days of starting treatment. However, people that take it with food are far less likely to have any negative side effects at all.

When it comes to the topical solution, I have not been able to find any instances of negative side effects. Apparently some people have reported a slightly itchy scalp because of it, but I don’t think that’s common since the treatment is all natural.

Anyway, to sum it up, I’d say that Procerin is pretty safe. However, I would stick to a treatment like HairIntegro if you have not tried to use a minoxidil treatment that includes the natural DHT blockers like Procerin has. Minoxidil is just so effective for such a high percentage of people that you may be really cheating yourself if you’re not using it.

Do your research before buying something, but I recommend HairIntegro because it’s a great product with a great, honest company that sells it. Their return policy is great and their success rate is great as well.

Buy Procerin

Should You Buy Procerin?

Although sometimes I give my opinion on products that I have not used myself, I have actually used Procerin for 6 months and I have a pretty valid opinion of it. My opinion is that it’s a decent product, it worked alright for me, and the company behind Procerin is legit. They have good customer service and fast shipping.

The problem as I see it is that Procerin doesn’t have minoxidil in it, and minoxidil is FDA approved to regrow hair. Therefore, Procerin is not likely to be as good as a product that DOES have minoxidil in it. When I used Procerin I liked it just fine, but found that other products that use minoxidil are more effective for me personally.

Plenty of product have minoxidil in them, but I personally like HairIntegro. If you’ve watched my videos or if you’ve seen my blog you probably already knew that. I’m sure there’s other stuff out there that works well, but I stick to what I like.

Anyway, back to Procerin. They do have a ton of really good DHT blocking agents that can help block DHT in the scalp like Propecia does but without the side effects. This is good for anyone that has seen negative side effects with Propecia and wants an alternative. I like the ingredients in Procerin and many of them are also in HairIntegro.

If you have had a negative reaction to minoxidil in the past, then I’d say that Procerin is really your best bet. Even though I personally don’t think it’s effective, it has basically no negative side effects associated with it that I know of so you can definitely be better off using Procerin that using any minoxidil product IF you have had side effects before. If you don’t have negative side effects, I would stick with a products that has minoxidil AND strong natural DHT blockers.

The Best Hair Restoration Products

The Best Hair Restoration Products

If you’re new to the whole hair loss thing or if you have not done a whole lot of research as of yet, then it’s quite likely that by this point you may be confused by what people claim actually works and what people claim does not work. The fact of the matter is that there is no such thing as a miracle product that will work for every single person. Some people will see a lot of success with a product and another person will see no results with the same product. It can be frustrating, but I’d say it’s good to at least know the basics behind the products that REALLY work.

First, no matter what treatment you ultimately decide on, it should contain minoxidil. Minoxidil is the active ingredient in Rogaine that’s FDA approved to regrow hair in men AND women. It works for about 85% of the people who try it, so that’s pretty good odds. Not everyone who tries it sees the same level of results though, and some people will see a lot more success with it than other people will. I personally use a minoxidil formula twice per day.

Second, it’s crucial to take SOME sort of an oral supplement or prescription that blocks DHT in your scalp. DHT is the leading cause of hair loss in both men and women, and if you can’t start to decrease the amount of DHT in your scalp, your hair loss will continue. For most people, that means all of their hair will fall out.

To avoid losing your hair, you’ll either have to use Propecia or you’ll have to use natural supplements that block DHT in the scalp. With Propecia, there is a potential for negative side effects. In some men, it has been known to cause impotence. Also, Propecia does not work for women, so it’s advised that women use a natural supplement. I personally take a natural supplement twice per day to go along with my minoxidil treatment.

In addition to a minoxidil treatment and DHT blocking oral supplement, I also recommend using shampoo that is designed to really clean your scalp well and help improve hair growth and the appearance of thickness. I know some people that use nizoral shampoo and they say it helps them control their hair loss. I personally use Nisim Shampoo because it makes my hair appear thicker while at the same time blocking DHT. So, my hair looks thick and I also am able to stop future hair loss. I’ll give a little more info on that nisim shampoo in another video.

Anyway, that’s my assessment of hair loss products that work and that don’t work. I don’t really think it’s necessary to buy TONS of different products to see if they all work or not, because I know these products work and so I’m just sticking to them.
